Okay, so one of my good friends from college thought it would be fun to sign me up on a "Christian" online dating service called
Okay, so today I check my e-mail and there is another one of the messages there. As I went to delete it, I noticed the subject said "People interested in (me)" So, yea, I looked. What kind of guy would send this? Apparently, a 43-year-old man in
The e-mail said I can "flirt back by winking back or putting them in (my) Favorites List. Or take the more direct approach: start a conversation by sending an engaging email!" (That is a direct quote from the e-mail.)
The e-mail address is "cupid@bigchurch.com"....why not instead "holyspirit@bigchurch.com" or "God@bigchurch.com"? Cupid? Where is he mentioned in the Bible? I don't know....So what is your opinion of this whole online "Christian dating service" thing? Most of the time I just think it is the typical dating thing with a big cross-shaped bow on it. Is it pigeon-holing God and making what you want fit Him? Or is that limiting God to say He can't use it?
What do you guys think? Oh, and although winking is quiet flirtatious, I don't plan on moving to
